Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading in the green, encouraged by the growth of the industrial and goods sectors.
By 10:18 am Qatar time, the general index grew 0.68% to 9,149.37 points, adding 61.36 points.
The bourse's turnover amounted to QAR 55.9 million after 2.172 million shares changed hands.
The industrial sector topped the QSE’s gainers adding 1.85%, boosted by Industries Qatar which rose 3.69%.
Similarly, the goods and services sector levelled up 1.04%, followed by the telecommunication and banking sectors, which went up 0.83% and 0.20%, respectively.
On the other hand, the transportation sector was the bourse’s only decliner falling 0.20% as Qatar Navigation declined 1.08%.
