Riyadh – Mubasher: The insurance sector of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on Wednesday rose 2.92% by 11:59 am KSA time, leading the rising sectors, backed by the royal decree of King Salman bin Abdulaziz to issue driving licences for female citizens.
In the meantime, the transportation sector edged up 0.9%.
The Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Tawuniya) stock surged 7.03% to SAR 97.5, with a liquidity of SAR 29.3 million, and Al Rajhi Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Al Rajhi Takaful) stock increased 6.4% reaching SAR 57.1, with a turnover of SAR 48.2 million.
United International Transportation Company’s (Budget Saudi) stock levelled up 5.95% to SAR 24.38 with a trading value of SAR 57.9 million, followed by Salama Cooperative Insurance’s stock with 4.14% to reach SAR 21.14 with a liquidity of SAR 10.5 million.
AXA Cooperative Insurance’s stock grew 4.07% to SAR 21.24, and Walaa Cooperative Insurance Co.’s stock gained 3.28% reaching SAR 27.7.
In the meantime, the Saudi Stock Exchange’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went down 0.15% or 10.5 points to reach 7,228.98 points.
