Dubai – Mubasher: International visitors to Dubai rose 3.9% year-on-year during the period from January to November 2016, according to a report by the Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).
The emirate welcomed 13.34 million visitors during the eleven months of 2016, compared to 12.8 million during the same period of 2015.
Average daily rate of Dubai hotels fell from AED 562 in the eleven-month period of 2015, compared to AED 503 in the same period of 2016.
India is Dubai's number one source market for foreign tourists with over 1.4310 million Indians visitors as at 30 November 2015, compared to 1.587 million shares as at 30 November 2016.
