Mubasher: Investcorp, a leading provider and manager of alternative investment products, achieved an increase of 5% in net income for the first six months ended on 31 December 2018 when compared to the same period in 2017.
Net earnings of the Bahrain-based private equity firm totalled $58 million in the first half that ended on 31 December 2018 from $55 million during the six months ended on 31 December 2017, according to a recent statement on Tuesday.
Earnings per ordinary share (EPS) stood at $0.74 in H1 ended on 31 December 2018, from $0.70 in the same period in 2017, a year-on-year increase of 6%.
“We will remain focused on achieving our ambitious growth targets of reaching AUM of $50 billion in the coming years while prudently managing our balance sheet and liquidity, and we are well positioned to continue delivering shareholder value and interesting investment opportunities for our clients,” executive chairman of Investcorp Mohammed Alardhi commented.
