Mubasher: Investcorp announced that its aggregated net income registered a growth of 4% during fiscal year 2018 compared to the prior year.
Net income increased to $125 million in FY18 from $120 million in FY17, according to a bourse statement on Wednesday.
During the second half that ended on 30 June 2018, Investcorp reported a net profit of $70 million compared to $72 million in the second half of 2017.
Investcorp’s investment activity grew by 36% to $2.8 billion in FY18 from $2.1 billion in FY17. Assets increased by 6% to total $22.6 billion in FY18, the statement showed.
It’s noteworthy that in the first half of fiscal year 2018, Investcorp announced a growth of 16% in profits to $55.3 million from $47.7 million in the corresponding period a year ago.
