Mubasher: Investcorp announced Monday that it is to acquire Coresec Systems company, one of the Scandinavia’s largest managed cyber security service providers, through a joint agreement with its portfolio company SecureLink Group, according to a bourse filing.
“Through the acquisition of Coresec and with combined revenues of €200 million, we believe we have taken a significant step forward in implementing the vision of creating a pan-European cyber security specialist,” said Mohammed Al Shroogi, co-CEO at Investcorp.
Moreover, Fahad Murad, managing director at Investcorp in Bahrain, pointed out that this acquisition is an excellent example of how Investcorp works to add value to its portfolio of companies by providing strategic as well as financial support.
Investcorp recently announced reaching an agreement to acquire a majority stake in the Corneliani company, the leading luxury menswear brand in Italy, at a value of $100 million.
