Cairo – Mubasher: Total investments of Beshay Steel Group’s new plant worth $2 billion, chairman of the group Kamal Beshay said on a call with “Hona Al'asema” on CBC.
The new plant, inaugurated by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Monday in Sada city, will manufacture steel products and railways’ rails, Beshay added.
The opening of the factory had been delayed since 2008 due to a lack of electricity over the past years, he highlighted.
On Monday, President El-Sisi has opened a slew of development projects in Nile Delta and Lower Egypt.
