Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse closed Wednesday’s session rising by 0.21% or 2.44 points to the level of 1,141.91 points.
Trading volume decreased to 2.67 million shares from 4.31 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, turnover also retreated to BHD 261,870 from BHD 398,130.
The investments sector rose alone by 2.12%, backed by the increase in Arab Banking Corporation by 9.68%, topping the green list.
On the other hand, the industrial sector was the worst performer after falling by 0.65%, pressured by a 0.68% fall in Alba.
The banks sector shrank 0.53% as Ahli United Bank and National Bank of Bahrain slid by 0.78% and 0.71% respectively.
The services sector closed 0.02% lower due to a 0.99% fall in Nass.
