Iran oil share in OPEC production to rise -Minister

Kuwait-Mubasher: Kuwait’s Acting Oil Minister Anas al-Saleh expected that Iran’s share of oil in OPEC production will increase next year, concurrently with lifting economic sanctions against Tehran.

Iran is an important member in OPEC, he said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), adding that the oil market can absorb the increase in production.

He expressed his hope that OPEC meeting would result in decisions that maintain the market stability.

He stressed the importance of setting fair prices for both exporters and importers to pave the way for more investments in this sector.
