Muscat-Mubasher: Iran is looking for attracting foreign investments worth billions of dollars from the GCC region, following the lifting of international sanctions which have been imposed for more than three decades, said Iranian ambassador to Oman Ali Akbar Sibawayh.
Iran is calling for countries across the world to channel their investments into Iran which offers a number of untapped opportunities in the fields of oil, gas, minerals, and mines, the ambassador said on Wednesday on the sidelines of a conference held in Oman’s capital.
He added that the country is hungry for more investments in specially in the promising sectors of tourism, hotels, and infrastructure which are poising for rapid growth.
