Iraq oil exports down to 97.6m barrels in April

Mubasher: Initial statistics from the Iraq's Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) showed Iraqi crude oil exports declined to 97.57 million barrels last month compared to around 101 million barrels in March.

Exports totalled $4.61 billion last month, according to a statement issued by the Iraqi oil ministry in Saturday.

The ministry’s spokesperson, Asim Jihad, said that exported amounts from exports from oil fields in the middle and south of Iraq reached 96.6 million barrels.

Kirkuk oil production amounted to 674,400 barrels, Jihad added, noting that daily exporting rate averaged 3.25 million barrels, with a price of $47.275 per barrels.

In February, the minister of oil said that Iraqi reserves increased to 153 billion barrels.
