Kuwait – Mubasher: Iraq's minister of planning and commerce Suleiman Al-Jumaili welcomed Kuwaiti investors to seek business opportunities in Iraq, saying they will "have a slight advantage over other business personnel," Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported on Friday.
The minister told KUNA that Kuwaiti firms and corporations have a strong presence in regional and global markets and that Iraq seeks to boost its economic and commercial ties with Kuwait.
Cooperation will benefit both our countries, he added.
Commenting on the situating in Iraq, the minister highlighted that the greatest challenge hindering the development of its country was the security threat posed by the so-called Islamic State (IS) and other terrorist groups.
