Iraqi index rises 0.52%, gains 3.96 points

Mubasher: Iraq Stock Exchange’s (ISX) main index, ISX 60, rose 0.52% or 3.69 points on Wednesday, reaching the level of 720.05 points.

Treading value reached IQD 564,230, versus IQD 596,120 yesterday. While the trading volume came to more than one billion shares through 528 trades.

Foreign selling hit IQD 194 million, while their purchases reached IQD one million.

The index was supported by the rise in 17 shares, out of 36 companies, while10 others closed down.

Mosul Dam tourism was the strongest performer as it ended 9.94% up to IQD 3.87, followed by Light Industries Company (+9.62%) to IQD 0.57, while Dijlah and Furat Bank topped the losers with a 8.57% decrease to IQD 0.32.

ISX closed yesterday at the level of 716.36 points, after falling 0.32% or 2.28 points.
