Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s finance minister Mohamed Maait has discussed with his Italian counterpart Giovanni Tria the means to enhance cooperation between the two countries, according to a statement on Sunday.
The discussions included the possibility of financing monorail projects in New Administrative Capital and Sixth of October city as well as developing Assiut Hydrocracking Complex.
The North African nation has achieved an economic growth exceeding 5.6% and slashed budget deficit to 8.4% of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) last year, Maait said.
