Mubasher: Ithmaar Bank has submitted a request to the industry, commerce & tourism ministry of Bahrain to change the name of the bank.
The bank, which is listed on both Bahrain Bourse and Boursa Kuwait, has requested the new name to be Ithmaar Holding Company, the bank said in a bourse statement issued on Tuesday.
The statement noted that IB Bank has submitted a request to the ministry to change its name to be Ithmaar Bank.
