Mubasher: Ithmaar Bank reported on Wednesday a net profit of $4.77 million for the third quarter of fiscal 2016, against a net loss of $1.65 million for Q3-15.
Net profit for the first nine months of 2016 rose by 43.3% to $16.73 million from $11.39 million for the same period of 2015, according to a bourse filing.
Operating profit grew by 14.89% in the nine-month period to $61.64 million, compared to $53.65 million for the same period last year.
The bank earlier posted a net profit of $11.96 million for the first half of 2016, 8.3% down from $13.04 million for H1-15.
