Ithmaar Development Company (IDC) has signed an agreement with multi-disciplinary consultancy firm Dar Al- Handasah Consultants (Shair and Partners) to design the Dilmunia Gateway Bridge (DGB), according to a bourse statement.
The bridge will be located on the west entrance, connecting Dilmunia island to the mainland.
Ithmaar noted that the $1.6 billion Dilmunia project is a “mixed-use development built on an island off Muharraq Coast, with unique health and wellness anchor including residences, hotels and leisure and shopping districts anchored around a health and wellness cluster.”
IDC is a fully-owned subsidiary of Ithmaar Bank which is listed on both Kuwait and Bahrain bourses.
