Jabal Omar to distribute interim dividends

Riyadh – Mubasher: Jabal Omar Development’s board on Wednesday agreed on distributing interim dividends to shareholders during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM).

The financial statement for the short Hijri year ended 15 Rajab 1438 have been approved and the board were released and discharged from liability of this period, the firm said in a filing to Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on Thursday.

The board nod to adjusting the firm’s main statute, in line with approving the rest of listed items on the EGM’s schedule, according to the statement.

Jabal Omar achieved a net profit of SAR 77.12 million in the fiscal year ended 15 Rajab 1438, versus a net loss of SAR 119.5 million in the prior fiscal year.

At the level of the fiscal year, the Saudi firm had previously announced shifting to Georgian calendar from the Hijri one in accordance with an integrated plan.

By the end of Wednesday’s trading session, Jabal Omar’s stock inched up 0.23% to SAR 66.55.
