Cairo – Mubasher: Japan Tobacco International (JTI) plans to raise its market share in Egypt by 10% to 15% year-on-year in 2018, general manager of JTI Egypt Ayman Abbassi said.
JTI has increased its market share in the Egyptian tobacco market by 1.5% last year, Abbassi added on the sidelines of a conference on Wednesday.
The Japanese tobacco firm has raised its market share to 2.5% at the end of 2017, up from 1% at the end of 2016, he highlighted.
The general manager has also unveiled that the company has invested more than $30 million since 2014 until the end of 2017.
