Dubai – Mubasher: Japanese firm Daikin has announced plans to expand its sales footprint in the UAE by opening its first exclusive showroom.
The heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC-R) solutions manufacturer signed an agreement with its authorised dealer in Ras Al Khaimah AlDaman Electrical Equipments and opened its first exclusive showroom in the emirate.
Located in Al Nakheel, Daikin’s new showroom offers solutions to home-owners with creative interior design air-conditioning needs and features the complete Daikin Inverter Direct Expansion (DX) and Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) ranges, the company said in a statement.
“Daikin’s growth stands on three main pillars; the brand’s reputation as a global leader; superior products that provide comfort, efficiency and lower energy bills; and a strong dealers network that is capable of representing the Daikin brand. AlDaman is a great example of that,” Daikin vice president of sales for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) Tuna Gulenc said.
Meanwhile, Daikin MEA’s general manager for UAE sales Samer Alawiah described the UAE as “a constantly burgeoning market,” noting that it would be a main driver for the Japanese firm’s growth in the region.
“While we have a solid plan to expand our sales network nationwide, we have chosen Ras Al Khaimah to host another exclusive showroom in UAE,” Alawiah stated.
With 70,000 people in employment worldwide, Osaka-based Daikin is a global pioneer in HVAC solutions, providing energy-efficient and eco-friendly products. It is famous for the invention of the VRV system in the 1980’s.
