Japan’s Nikkei skids to lowest level since one year

Mubasher: Japanese shares closed Monday in the red territory, amid the continued anxiety about the outlook for the Chinese economy and falling oil prices to lowest levels since 2003.

The benchmark Nikkei slid 1.1% to 16,955.57points, the lowest level since one year.

 The Broader TOPIX Index also fell 1% to 1,387.93 points, and the JPX-Nikkei Index 400 retreated 1% to 12,498.67 points.
