Mubasher: Japan-based, Nintendo Co. on Monday said its net profits rose to JPY 30.2 billion in the third quarter of 2017, against analysts’ expectations of JPY 15.8 billion.
The firm’s operating profits reached JPY 23.7 billion in Q3-17, compared to JPY 19 billion in the year-ago period.
The Japanese company’s profits exceeded analysts’ forecasts due to higher sales.
Nintendo’s revenues hit JPY 219.9 billion ($19 billion) in Q3-17, while analysts expected achieving JPY 174 billion.
