Mubasher: Japanese stocks ended Wednesday’s trading in the green zone; extending its upward trend for the third session in a row despite the rise in yen against dollar.
The benchmark Nikkei grew 0.08% to the level of 16,579 points, and the TOPIX index advanced 0.04%.
The yen increased against dollar by 0.5% as the latter weakened to 108.7 yen, according to MarketWatch.
In China, Shanghai index rose 0.2% to 2,837.28 points.
