Mubasher: Asian shares ended Wednesday on a strong note, backed by the rise of global markets and oil prices.
Japan’s Nikkei Index added as much as 2.8% to reach 16,381.22 points, which is its highest in April.
Similarly, Topix Index gained 2.6% to 133.244 points, after the yen slipped against the dollar by 2.8%.
China’s Shanghai Composite Index rose by 2.7% to end at 21,046.50 points, reversing yesterday’s declines.
