Mubasher: Japanese stocks ended Wednesday’s trading on a positive note, ending a four-day losing streak.
The benchmark Nikkei rose 0.4% to the level of 15,919 points, and the broader Topix index leapt 4% to 1,277 points, according to figures by MarketWatch.
The dollar rose against the yen by 0.15% to 106.27.
