Riyadh – Mubasher: Japan is the biggest importer of Saudi Arabia's products with SAR 23.33 billion in the third quarter of 2017, followed by China with SAR 22.7 billion, and India with SAR 17.14 billion, the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) said.
Concerning Saudi exports to Arab nations, the UAE, Bahrain, and Egypt topped the list during Q3-17 with SAR 14.18 billion, SAR 4.98 billion, and Egypt with SAR 4.94 billion, respectively.
The total value of Saudi Arabia's exports to its top ten importers hit SAR 130.21 billion, representing 66.5% of the kingdom's total exports which stood at SAR 195.85 billion in Q3-17.
While China is the top exporter to the Kingdom with SAR 18.93 billion, followed by the US with SAR 14.36 billion, and the UAE with 7.82 billion during Q3-17.
The total value of Saudi imports from its largest ten exporters amounted to SAR 72.8 billion, making up 63.6% of total Saudi imports that hit SAR 114.46 billion in Q3-17.
On Monday, the GASTAT noted that the Saudi trade surplus surged 39.94% during Q3-17, compared to Q3-16.
