Japanese indices rise led by Nikki; China shares up

Mubasher: Japanese indexes rose for the second session in a row at the end of Thursday’s trading, with the Nikkei index climbing 1.3% to 16,960 points.

The broader Topix rose by 1.4% to 1602 points and the JPX-Nikkei Index 400 inched up by 1.3% to 12,415.74 points.

Meanwhile, Chain’s Shanghai index rose by 0.35% to 2,859.76 points.
