Japanese stocks down on lower oil prices

Mubasher: Japanese stocks reversed the upward trend they maintained for two sessions on Tuesday amid fears over global economy after oil prices drop.

Japan's Nikkei 225 fell 2.3% to reach 16,708 points.

Tokyo’s broader Topix index levelled down 2.3% to reach 1,360 points.

Oil prices fell to $30 per barrel after rebounding from 12-year low.
