Mubasher: Japanese stocks fell at the end of Monday’s trading as a result of the surge of Yen’s value against a basket of currencies.
Japan's Nikkei index inched down by 0.6% to 16911 points.
TOPIX index fell by 0.5% to 1361 points.
Meanwhile, yen rose against US dollar At 0900 GMT by 0.08%, so greenback dropped to 113.6 yen.
