Riyadh-Mubasher: Jarir Marketing said it made profits worth SAR 174.1 million ($46.4 million) in the first quarter of 2016, compared to SAR 247 million ($65.87 million) in the same quarter of 2015, a decline of 29.5%.
Lower wholesales slashed the company’s profits this quarter after they hit an all-time record high in the comparable quarter last year, the statement said.
