Riyadh – Mubasher: Jarir Marketing Company’s profits fell in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2016 by 17% to SAR 128.5 million ($34.26 million), versus SAR 154.9 million ($41.3 million) in Q2-15.
The fall in profits was attributed to the decrease in sales of computers and office supplies, according to a bourse filing released on Tuesday.
In the first half of 2016, net profit shrank 24.7% to SAR 302.6 million from SAR 401.9 million in the same period of 2015.
The company earlier posted a net profit of SAR 174.1 million for Q1-16, 29.5% down from SAR 247 million in Q1-15.
