Mubasher: Jazeera Airways, Kuwait's leading low-cost airline, operating regionally and internationally, announced that it has reached an agreement to buy a “LEAP” engine.
The new engine will support operations of operating A320neo planes, according to the carrier’s statement to Boursa Kuwait on Thursday.
The company noted that buying a new engine will create an increase in its fixed assets, which will be reflected in the financials of the second quarter of 2019.
In the first quarter of 2019, the Boursa Kuwait-listed airline achieved a net profit of KWD 1.5 million ($4.93 million).
