Mubasher: Jazeera Airways achieved profits of $1.8 million from selling the new engine “LEAP”, out of a total selling value of $17 million.
The deal was executed after finalising an agreement for selling the new engine to a firm specialised in purchasing and leasing aircraft engines and engines re-leasing, Jazeera Airways said in a statement to Boursa Kuwait on Wednesday.
Kuwait's leading low-cost airline further added that the positive impact of the deal will be registered in the financial statements for the third quarter of 2019.
