Jazeera Airways receives first Airbus A320neo in Middle East

Mubasher: Jazeera Airways announced on Monday that it took delivery of the first Airbus A320neo aircraft to arrive in the Middle East.

The new investment will introduce the fuel-saving and new engine aircraft to Jazeera’s growing fleet, according to a recent official statement.

Jazeera is considered Kuwait's leading low-cost airline, operating regionally and internationally,

Jazeera Airways CEO, Rohit Ramachandran, said: “This is the first of three A320neo aircraft scheduled to be delivered to Jazeera Airways by May 2019, supporting our continued network expansion to cover destinations that are around 5 to 6 hours away from Kuwait.”

“The A320neo introduces new upgrades that enable us to make cost savings while improving performance and increasing the range covered by the single-aisle aircraft,” Ramachandran added.

The A320neo offers savings in fuel burn, additional payload, increased range, lower operating costs and a significant reduction in engine noise and CO2 emissions below the current industry standard.
