Jordan annual fuel imports slashed by half

Mubasher: Jordan’s imports of mineral fuels and lubricants dropped by 48.5%to JOD2.27 billion in 2015, against JOD4.41 billion a year earlier.

Crude oil imports also declined by 49.6% to JOD826.7 million, from JOPD1.64 billion in 2014, as per a report issued by Central Bank of Jordan. 

In addition, the value of imports of oil products was down by 64.3% to JOD872.6 million, compared to JOD2.44 billion.
