Jordan inks 2 soft loans deal with AFESD

Mubasher: Jordan’s Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation signed on Tuesday two soft loan agreements worth $70.69 million with the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) to implement development projects.

Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, Imad Fakhoury, pointed out to the importance of development projects to be implemented through the two agreements, defined as radar for weather forecasting purposes through a $1 million, and developing infrastructure in Petra through a soft loan worth $19.7 million.
