Mubasher: Jordan’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) declined 0.8% to 116.43 points by the end of November 2015, compared to 117.39 in the same period of 2014, according to a report released by Jordanian Department of Statistics (DOS) on Tuesday.
DOS attributed the drop in CPI to the low prices of some commodity groups, like transportation, fuel, lighting and drinks, which outweighed the increasing prices of rentals, fruits, education and tobacco.
The report also showed a 1.5% fall in CPI year-on-year last November.
