Jordan’s agricultural producers prices fall 1.9% in 9M

Mubasher: Jordan’s agricultural producers’ prices dropped by 1.9% in the first nine months of 2015, as the cumulative record slipped to 145.7 points from 148.5 points in the same period last year, according to the department of statistics (DoS)

The DoS attributed the fall to the low prices of some agricultural crops like eggplant, bananas, beans, squash and sweet pepper, and also to the increase in prices of other crops such as tomatoes, hot peppers and cucumbers during the period.
