Mubasher: Jordan’s inflation declined by 1.4% in the first six months of 2016, according to data issued by the Department of Statistics (DoS).
The groups that led to H1 decline were transportation (7%), meat and poultry (8.1%), fuel and electricity (7.8%), dry and canned vegetable and legumes (7.2%) and fruits and nuts (4.7%), the state agency added.
Meanwhile, the leasing, culture and entertainment, ready-made clothes and education segments rose by 3%, 5%, 3.6%, and 1.6% respectively.
