Cairo – Mubasher: Almost 1,945 Jordanian firms are operating in Egypt with total investments of around $600 million, the Egyptian investment and international cooperation minister said.
Meanwhile, Egyptian investments in Jordan amounted to $1 billion through 499 firms, Sahar Nasr added in a statement.
Nasr has also called for boosting the Jordanian investments in the most populous Arab state.
This came on the sidelines of a meeting presided over by Nasr and Jordan’s industry and trade minister Tariq Al-Hamory with the presence of Egyptian trade and petroleum ministries Tarek El-Molla and Amr Nassar.
