Jordan’s trade balance deficit shrinks 14% in 2015

Mubasher: Jordan’s trade balance deficit retreated 14% year-on-year  to JOD 8.88 billion in 2015, according to a report by Jordan’s Department of Statistics.

Total exports value declined 6.6% to JOD 5.56 billion in 2015, national exports value also fell 7.1% to JOD 4.8 billion, and the value of re-exports slipped 3.4% to JOD 763.2 million.

Meanwhile, total imports value plummeted 11.3% y/y.
