Mubasher: Jordan’s trade balance deficit declined by 16.5% during the first nine months of 2015, said the Department of Statistics (DoS).
The state’s total exports amounted to JOD 4.16 billion, a 7.2% drop from the level recorded during the same period of 2014.
National exports were 7.3% lower at JOD 3.6 billion of the total, while re-exports came at JOD 0.6 billion, a 6.5% decline.
The statistics also showed a 13.1% fall in imports during the nine-month period of 2015 to JOD 10.58 billion.
