Jordan’s trade deficit up to 13% in Q1

Mubasher: Jordan’s trade deficit rose to 13% in the first quarter of 2016, according to Petra News Agency.

National exports declined 12.7%, whereas imports increased 4%.

The coverage ratio of total exports to imports fell to 32% in Q1-16 from 38% in Q1-15.

Total exports reached JOD 1.16 billion in Q1-16, a decline of 10.7% from JOD 3.54 billion in Q1-15.
