Mubasher: Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) extended its downtrend on Wednesday, with the benchmark falling 0.56% or 13.18 points to 1,998.15.
Turnover dropped from JOD 10.4 million to JOD 6.4 million, while traded volume increased to 6.2 million shares, exchanged in 2,000 transactions.
The industrial and financial sectors shed 1.6% and 0.27% respectively, while the services sector moved 0.15% lower.
Wrapping up equities, losers eclipsed gainers 57 to 35. Al Amal Financial Investment was the major disappointment, tumbling 6.25% to JOD 0.6. Meanwhile, Arab Co. for Investment Projects led the way in gains, rocketing 7.69% to JOD 0.14.
