Jordanian-UAE economic forum kicks off in Amman

Mubasher: The first Jordanian-UAE Economic Forum kicked off Wednesday in Amman, under the auspices of Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour with the participation of private sectors representatives from both sides.
The forum, headed by UAE Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri and Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Maha Ali, is organized by the Jordan Chamber of Industry.
Minister Maha Ali highlighted in a statement on Tuesday the importance of the event which aims to promote economic cooperation between the two countries in various fields, mainly in trade and investment.
"The gathering, a result of the joint Jordanian-UAE higher committee work, will shed light on the investment opportunities available in both countries," she added.
