Mubasher: Total deposits at Jordanian banks increased 8% to reach JOD 32.598 billion in 2015, compared to JOD 30.261 billion in 2014, according to a recent statement.
The value of banks’ deposits rose by 0.51% or JOD 165 million in December, compared to November in which they reached JOD 32.43 billion.
The private sector’s deposits grew 7.5% to JOD 29.88 billion in 2015, compared to JOD 27.78 billion.
