Mubasher: Amman Stock Exchange’s (ASE) main index continued rallying, as it closed Tuesday with a rise of 0.35% or 6.11 points to 2,036.14 points.
Trading value declined to JOD 8.8 million from JOD 3.9 million yesterday, and trading volume plummeted to 5.4 million shares exchanged in 3,340 trades.
The industrial and financial sectors led the green list with 1.19% and 0.21% respectively, while the services dropped alone by 0.13%.
Out of 120 companies, 45 shares closed higher, and 32 others moved down.
Al-amal Financial Investments and Dar Al Dawa Development and Investment topped the gainers with a rise of 7.46% and 5.99% respectively. Meanwhile, Comprehensive Land Development and Investment headed the decliners as it ended 4.30% lower, followed by Arab Electrical Industries at -3.64%.
The ASE’s main index closed Monday 0.35% or 7.17 points higher, reaching the level of 2,030.03 points.
