Cairo – Mubasher: Juhayna Food Industries reported an 11% year-on-year profit decline in the first quarter of 2019.
The Egyptian food producer’s profits amounted to EGP 71.61 million in the three-month period ended 31 March, compared to EGP 80.72 million in the year-ago period, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, sales rose to EGP 1.7 billion in Q1-19 from EGP 1.55 billion in the corresponding period a year earlier.
