Cairo – Mubasher: Juhayna Food Industries posted on Thursday a consolidated net loss of EGP 114.8 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2016, compared to a consolidated net profit of EGP 61.3 million for Q4-15.
The company’s consolidated net profit for fiscal 2016 declined 80.8% to EGP 53.65 million from EGP 279.93 million for fiscal 2015, according to a bourse filing.
Standalone profits decreased in 2016 by 24.28% to EGP 200.28 million, versus EGP 264.52 million for 2015.
Consolidated foreign exchange losses amounted to 58.5 million, while standalone foreign exchange losses reached EGP 2.7 million, according to another statement.
The stock closed Wednesday’s trading at EGP 7.36.
