Dubai – Mubasher: UAE-based Julphar Pharmaceuticals revealed that it has inked an agreement with Dutch company PharmaMatch to launch a new combination for the treatment of hypercholesterolemia in the UAE.
“Bringing new medicines to the local market is something we are very proud to be able to do,” Jerome Carle, general manager of Julphar, said.
Under the deal, Julphar, which is one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the Middle East and Africa, will manufacture the combination, which is used to target hypercholesterolemia, a condition characterised by very high levels of cholesterol, Arabian Business reported.
“We strongly believe in the efficacy and value of these medications. They will have a real impact on the lives of the many people who suffer from high cholesterol,” Carle added.
